| 1974 - 1980 | Executive/Member of Board of Directors of American Indian Travel Commission - (The commission was a nonprofit corporation that provided consulting services to American Indians and Alaska natives.) |
| 1980 - 1985 | President, Venture Inns of America, Inc. - a subsidiary of Grand Metropolitan, PLC, a U.K. corporation. Founded company and sold it to Grand Metropolitan. (Concurrently, was president of Hospitality Ventures Corporation.) |
