Kristy comes from a family of artists....her mother and grandmother are both artists.

She is a high school English teacher in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, and prior to this, she taught English on the Hopi Indian Reservation in Arizona.

Her work is in various mediums including pottery and acrylic painting, and pastels.

She has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States. (Her family was in the hotel business.) During her formative years, she excelled in sports and music.

Favorites are sunflowers, butterflies, and angels that she works into her art in various forms and permutations.
